Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of individuals offering a range of different skills and abilities with the requirement to meet a number of strict intra-day deadlines
  • Preparation and completion of all documentary requirements
  • Ensure that all the day's processes are completed efficiently, in time and accurately
  • Ensure smooth delivery of services to our customers
  • Continuous monitoring of the work flow and allocating staff resources accordingly
  • Manage training of the team to ensure uninterrupted service during absences and career development opportunities for staff
  • Assisting branches and other departments with their enquiries/queries
  • Be open and co-operative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators
  • Be open and co-operative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators
  • Pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly
  • Observe proper standards of market conduct

Experienced needed:

  • Knowledge of the Asset Finance market is essential
  • Strong leadership skills and experience of developing people is essential
  • Experience of driving team engagement and collaboration with others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experience of operating in a back office environment
  • The ability to solve problems and deliver effective solutions
  • Knowledge of the UK banking system is desirable

As the Asset Finance Manager you will need to lead and develop the team, be in charge of and oversee the P&L, get into the detail, recommend improvements, be able to challenge and work with senior management and external and internal customers.
