Job Description:
Summary
To provide client facing solutions on both asset and liability side for the Index Options Trading desk. To manage daily risks and tasks within the team. Providing clients with optimal solutions to manage market exposure and trade profitability. Also to work closely with other departments including distribution and research.

Role description
  • Execute client order
  • Pricing/Quoting for clients
  • Manage risk for client requests
  • Actively work with sales to make sure the franchise has access to the right price and information for the client
  • Cover trading books when required
  • Prepare presentations and back up support for corporate clients presentation and internal reports
  • Assisting in the pricing and hedging of new transactions
  • Required to identify and implement controlled streamlining of operational processes
  • Developing a close working relationship with the rest of the trading floor, Treasury and Finance

Qualifications / Skills
  • Master/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance or Economics
  • Experience working for a large, global Investment Bank within a Global Markets business
  • Experience trading Index Options products specifically Dax options, OMX options and options on other small indices
  • Strong, demonstrable mathematical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced level of Excel to VBA level, MS Access, Bloomberg
  • Experience building trading analysis tools in Python
  • Market risk knowledge
  • Understanding of the macro factors relating to client markets and related transactions
  • Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
  • Able to conduct due diligence on potential investments, review watch list names, and analyze trade ideas
  • Understanding of financing activities within a global investment banking organisation
  • Demonstrate ability to identify issues, evaluate large sets of data and generate ideas of the back off this analysis
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
