London Based Fixed Income House seek a Technical Business Analyst for Credit Trading, experience in producing FIX specifications for electronic trading and communication of trade-related messages. Exposure to OMS / EMS API integration with trading venues. Full familiarity with SDLC and the role of the BA within its framework. Strong, current knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools. Knowledge of European debt trading practices and conventions from both buy-side and sell-side perspective. Knowledge of one or more European electronic debt trading platforms. Experience in producing Graphical-User-Interface (GUI) specifications for front-office trading applications. Fundamental understanding of database design, including working knowledge of SQL. The BA will work with internal Stakeholders to define business solutions that meet the specific needs of the Business. The BA will ensure that the business drivers behind change are well understood, business requirements are adequately defined and the impacts on clients (internal and external) are understood and agreed. The BA will possess strong analytical skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written. They will also demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. YOU MUST be able to Produce High-Level and Detailed Specification documents at the level of detail required by in-house Development and QA teams following existing documentation standards and templates. Collaborate with Development and QA to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Hold business walkthroughs with Stakeholders and other skill areas as applicable to ensure a good understanding of the project. Validate High Level Design to ensure the design meets functional and non-functional requirements. Review High Level Test Strategy to validate it is in line with the Business needs. Provide input for client facing Documentation as required for assigned projects.
