A leading global advisory, broking and solutions company is looking for a Business Operations support to join their growing team.

In this role you will proactively support on matters relating to risk management, finance, billing, training and day to day processes relating to the UK Investments Line of Business


This position is primarily based in London however some travel will be required to our Reigate and Leeds offices. Working hours are 9am-5pm but there may be some flexibility in these times if needed.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:


  • Responsible for liaising with Corporate Functions and People Managers regarding recruitment operational procedures to include new starters, transfers, and leavers
  • Assisting with the end to end processing for recruiting new Team Administrators into the UK business; liaising with hiring managers, recruitment, interviewing, feedback and Onboarding
  • Responsible for liaising with Corporate Functions to include; IT issues and requests, HR queries and Accounts Payable invoice processing, ensuring processes are followed diligently and support is provided to the business as required
  • Assist with space planning and facilitate changes as required
  • Key point of contact for client billing queries and project maintenance support
  • Key point of contact for UK Investments intranet updates
  • Key point of contact for UK Team Administrators assisting with arranging cover, cascading information to the team and arranging regular update meetings
  • Key point of contact for colleagues to raise issues, help manage through times of change and provide support in operational areas as required


  • Build strong working relationships throughout Investments and the wider business
  • Assist with aspects of the Investments UK Business Continuity Plan
  • Work closely with and assist the Operations Management Associate Director


  • Delivering support that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Assist in co-ordinating all aspects of administrative processes for the Investments business to ensure due process is followed
  • Adhere to and support business with regard to procedures, values and work excellence


The Requirements

  • Ability to work unsupervised creating and managing own workload
  • Ability to quickly develop working knowledge of the Investments business and wider firm
  • Ability to work systematically, methodically, be proactive and possess the tenacity to effectively provide support whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Flexible, adaptable and a good team player with excellent people skills
  • Highly organised, monitoring and managing multiple tasks
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Good working experience of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Job Offer

Full training will be provided for this role but you will need to have worked within Financial Services for 3 years or more. This is a great opportunity to move to investments.
