A super opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual with a clear interest in finance.
The role will lead on a number of major internal projects on behalf of the CFO/COO, focussing on developing systems and processes.
A very well established Private Equity firm. The pace at which things move is incredibly fast and they work in a very agile way. The team is c.50 people in London and the culture is very driven, motivated and hard working.
This role would suit an ambitious individual, willing to work hard in order to progress. In return, this role will give enormous exposure to all elements of the business and you will be working very closely to the CFO/COO who runs all operational elements of the business.
This is quite a unique Chief of Staff role with less focus on logistical matters, and more focus on project management and enabling change.
Key projects will include:
- reviewing firm wide processes across Finance, Legal and HR departments
- reviewing and developing the systems and processes the firm uses to monitor and interact with its Portfolio Businesses
- leading an Environment, Social and Governance Review of the firm's entire investment portfolio
- leading the introduction and implementation of a Document Management system
This is a newly created role and there will also be various day to day tasks supporting the CFO/COO.
The candidate must have a strong interest in Private Equity, preferably having already gained some experience in this sector.
Prior experience in an organisational support or project delivery role is required.
This role will require exceptional communication and organisational/project management skills.
Self confidence and presence/the ability to contribute at meetings is important, as is the ability to listen, take direction and execute projects.
The ability to navigate through processes and learn about the business with degrees of ambiguity is also key.
Relevant examples to dof the aemonstrate all of the above attributes will be required.
