We are recruiting on behalf of a respected financial services company for a client relationship manager to work within the corporate services team within their Whiteley office due to continual portfolio growth and expansion. Your new role
Within your role as corporate services client relationship manager you will work within a team of 6 to administer a number of corporate services and structures whilst effectively managing client relationships. Reporting in to the senior client relationship manager and director of corporate services you will line manage both the senior corporate administrators.
Day to day you will as act as the first point of contact for company secretarial and administration matters for a number of corporate entities including trusts, companies and limited partnerships. You will ensure that all company and client secretarial documentation and fillings are prepared, reviewed and distributed on time and with complete accuracy. On an operational level you will ensure that all operational procedures and ISAE checklist templates are completed for client relationships.
In addition to this you will minute and attend client board and client shareholder meetings and co-ordinate client legal, tax and professional advice whilst ensuring strong and positive relations with clients. You will take responsibility and oversee the billing of clients by analysing time spent and the management of aged debtors.
Whilst line-managing you will supervise and assist in the continual training and development of your team and participate in the appraisal process for members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
Due to the nature of the secretarial work carried out on behalf of companies in regards to trusts, companies and limited partnerships a legal background or trained legal professional would be preferable as would an ICSA qualification. There is a legal department in place within the company but having experience in the administration of companies, partnerships and trusts and have sound financial services knowledge (which will be supported through the company training academy) would be ideal.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential and you will be able to build positive and strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and business contacts. You will have experience managing client relationships, attending board and shareholder meetings and be confident with dealing with tight deadlines.
You will have excellent administration, organisation and IT skills and hold a high attention to detail whilst being able to prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will take a pro-active approach to your work and be able to work flexibly.
