Our client is a professional FinTech company, providing business services from the heart of Cardiff City Centre. They're looking for dynamic individuals to join their existing team in continuing to provide high levels of service to their clients as a Client Relationship Manager


Your challenge as a Client Relationship Manager:

  • Management of the client portfolio through day to day interactions, analysis of MI and compliance of client operating conditions
  • Works closely with the Relationship Manager to fully understand and implement the agreed strategy, engaging in regular portfolio reviews to deliver service and risk excellence
  • Work closely with Portfolio CSAs to ensure 100% accuracy with placements and timesheets
  • Understand key features of the product range and recognise what additional services can be provided to increase revenue streams for the portfolio
  • Identify and evaluate risks within portfolio (including errors, fraud and inappropriate procedures) ensuring business controls are in place to minimise exposure to risk
  • Work with and support the credit control function to achieve agreed standards and targets
  • Takes responsibility for analysing key, relevant facts to come to a thorough and balanced decision or recommendation
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by managing relationships to ensure clients are getting the best service for their business
  • Outstanding communication and team working skills, internally and externally to ensure customer needs are met


Essential skills and experience required to succeed as a Client Relationship Manager in Cardiff:

  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients with a history of providing outstanding customer service
  • Able to understand and identify the needs of the client and a desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
  • Able to solve problems and escalate with potential solutions where necessary through correct channels to ensure seamless client experience
  • Displays an aptitude for numeracy with the ability to provide basic calculations of the ledger when required
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Proven experience in basic Risk management with the ability to spot potential downward trends and escalate as appropriate
  • Ability to build networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple clients at a time while paying strict attention to detail
