Interested in a role working as a Credit Data Scientist within a Decision Science team where you have the responsibility to optimise customer acquisition and underwriting as well as ensure all decisions satisfy risk appetite? This job gives you the opportunity to lead projects as well as develop both credit risk and marketing models using Python for both UK and International businesses.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Data Credit Scientist within the company's Decision Science team, you will be responsible for taking project leads where you will have to define analytical project phases, drive the projects through to implementation and ensure that you are regularly engaging and relaying important information to key stakeholders throughout.You will also be accountable for the company's modelling approach and will be modelling both Credit and Market Risk models using Python on a regular basis.
On the modelling front, you will also ensure that the models are complaint with relevant legislation and identify comparable sub-populations through statistical segmentation techniques.Other responsibility's include model implementation, monitoring and deputising for the Head of Decision Science when required.
What is required from you?
- Proven background in analytics and Python Modelling within either personal or retail finance.
- Experience in leading a team where you have the responsibility of initiating projects
- Comprehensive experience in programming, database extraction and reporting
- Knowledge of Credit Reference Agency Data
- Experience in working with and presenting to senior managers or key stakeholders.
You should expect to earn up to £70,000 plus a competitive benefits package including performance related bonus and pension.
