Your new role
You will report directly into the Head of Operations and will oversee a team of 6 Credit Controllers including 1 Team Leader. As Credit Control Manager you will manage the credit control team effectively to ensure that monthly collection targets are delivered. You will be responsible for reviewing existing processes and controls, providing improvement ideas which if authorised you will then implement to the business. You will manage and motivate the team and lead them to success by adopting a hands on approach to management and providing training where required to develop your staff. In this role you will be involved in project work that will improve the functionality of the team and systems. Excellent communication and commercial skills are essential as you will be involved with senior management meetings, and you can effectively build working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders. You will be able to work at pace and flexibly within an ever-changing environment including the ability and experience to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Other duties will include taking full ownership of the ledgers including cash forecasting, monthly reporting and month end procedures, ledger reviews and setting of KPI's. Conducting 1-2-1 performance reviews, implementing performance improvements plans and staff development including effective training.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong leadership skills, able to shape, mentor and motivate the team. You will be Results/target driven with the ability to define, measure and audit KPIs and be able to cope with multiple priorities and the changing environment. You will also Demonstrable management experience within a B2B Credit Control environment
