Your new role
Your new role will be as a Custody Oversight & Governance Manager. You will be joining the Fund Services business, gaining valuable exposure to third party Custodian and Fund accountant oversight.
You will play an important role in reviewing and documenting processes, identifying risks and putting into place effective control methods which will remove those risks from your day-to-day processes and interactions with custodians. Implementation of controls, robust reporting with appropriate and timely escalation of issues will all be key.
You will be building key relationships to help you understand the risk and control requirements - including legal agreements, ensuring there is no impact to the client trading strategy. You will understand regulatory changes and the impact that these have on the client, Fund Services and the custodians.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to have good experience of the international financial services industry, preferably custodian oversight, account management, international securities or fund services environment. You will need to have experience dealing with CASS and AIFMD as an essential.
This role will require a strong mindset that allows you to build relationships easily, strong Network Management with the ability to think strategically in order to improve these processes.
