Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an Investment Manager to join a successful team in Manchester City Centre, with a focus on Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS). They are already part of a much larger group who specialise in financial services and investments.

As an EIS Investment Manager, you will monitor companies across the United Kingdom for investment opportunities and be involved in all aspects of investment strategy and process. You will work closely with your investee providing the strongest market and investment knowledge. This high-growth group already have existing success of managing investments at mid-market level.

The Ideal Investment Manager (EIS Funds) will be responsible for:

*Developing a network of introducers to display own potential deals
*Keeping up to date with business developments, trends, and market opportunities
*Carrying out due diligence on potential investees
*Writing investment papers to a top quality and in line with investment guidelines
*Portfolio management including financial performance monitoring, deal origination, managing exit processes
*HNWI
*Keeping the company CRM system updated with acute records of any developments
*Structuring deals for existing and new investors
*Monitoring the performance of an investment for both the investee and company, and reporting/reviewing monthly
*Maintaining and growing a network of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and Non-Executive Directors (NXD)

The Ideal Investment Manager will have the following experience:

*Track record of early stage investments in a venture capital funds or similar
*Enterprise Investment Scheme experience
*Experience of working with senior board directors of companies and investors
*Fantastic business acumen and analytic skills
*Working within a fully regulated environment, with an understanding of guidelines and penalties of non-compliance
*Experience working and have a network with HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals) and NXD (Non-Executive Directors)
*Experience managing multiple investment projects to meet deadlines
*Financial analysis experience and modelling
*Excellent written and verbal communication for investment papers, presentations, and meetings
*Strong Microsoft Skills are essential, with a focus on Excel (Intermediate - Advanced level minimum)
*A full clean UK driving license with a willingness to travel
*Fantastic interpersonal skills
*Ideally educated to a degree level
*Be eligible to work in the UK
