To continue achieving this goal, we need a commercial accountant with exceptional gravitas and refined management accounting skills. Your appointment will enable our team to continue reinforcing our relationships with our business through the provision of more meaningful data, analysis and long-term planning.

Your polished commercial skills will be vital in supporting our business development team to price new business opportunities and explore what is commercially possible. Often you will need to juggle several tasks to meet challenging deadlines, use problem-solving and judgement skills to initiate change, ensure key operational and commercial targets are delivered.

  • Support the continual development of management information systems and reporting with the aim of streamlining processes and being as efficient as possible
  • Provide timely management information and analysis (including detailed modelling) for decision support purposes
  • Assist with the production of budgeting/forecasting information and monthly management reporting
  • Support and challenge the commercial and operations teams in pricing proposed customer solutions
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the commercial team
  • Provide appropriate financial information and advice to enable the Retail Logistics teams to best manage project spends


  1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, OR CIMA)
  2. Strong attention to detail
  3. The ability to adapt to the changing requirements of business customers and stakeholders
  4. Advanced MS Excel skills
  5. Strong analytical and presentation skills
  6. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  7. The ability to convey complex financial information in a concise, non-technical manner
  8. Previous knowledge of the Logistics industry would be advantageous but not critical
