Critical hire for a n established start-up lender.

THE ROLE

+ Report into Director

+ Oversee small team of Data Scientists and Credit Strategy Analysts
+ Build and lead data-driven Credit Risk team
+ Create underwriting policies and develop credit decision strategies
+ Establish Credit Risk framework and deliver methodology
+ Work closely with data engineers to build Credit Data infrastructure
+ Communicate with the board, investors and external stakeholders
+ Develop state of the art analytics function - using SQL, Python, R

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Credit Risk SME with a background in Credit Risk Analytics
  • Proficient in using SQL with Python, R or SAS
  • Experience building out Credit Risk teams and growing state of the art analytics functions
  • An expert in Credit Risk Strategy and Modelling
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Motivation to work in an exciting start-up and build something new
