Fancy driving the strategic across agenda across the full Credit lifeycycle at a fast-paced consumer lender? You will be responsible for managing multiple teams (8 reports in total) to deliver data driven Credit strategy and profitability-based business decisions from originations through to account management and collections.

It's a highly data driven environment with best in class analyst and analytics managers supporting the strategic agenda and customer value approach to Credit Risk.


  • Lead multiple teams driving Credit Risk Strategy development and optimisation through analytics and modelling
  • Ensure the core strategic initiatives delivered through the Credit Analytics function are aligned to drive business and customer value
  • As part of the Senior Leadership team, work in partnership with the broader Credit and Collections teams
  • Maximise the value of third party data suppliers (credit bureaux), traditional and new data sources to optimise yield from data
  • Steward the business through a journey toward enhanced decision making; improving MI, data processes and insight generation so data can be managed in a more granular manner; improving decision making and progressing the entire Credit Risk function
  • Work with the 2nd and 3rd line to develop a robust method for model and strategy review and sign off
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to enhance credit decisions


The successful candidate will likely have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate discipline
  • Previous experience developing Credit Risk Strategy through the use of high volume data
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Experience managing databases with SQL or SAS
  • Experience using Credit Reference Agency data
  • Knowledge of how Scorecards work
