The bank provides a very personalised service to HNWI's building a lasting and trusting partnership with each customer.
To build and develop the Bank's Wealth management 'execution only' proposition. Leading an existing team of six Relationship managers and banking support staff. Reporting to the CEO as part of the bank's senior management team key responsibilities include: Developing and execute strategy for marketing HNWI's with a view to growing Client Assets, Maintain close contact with existing and potential HNWI's in order to assess and keep abreast of changing market conditions and client requirements, maintain oversight to ensure integrity of the bank's Wealth management business operations through suitable systems and controls, Advise the compliance officer of any issues or concerns in relation to client assets Organize and monitor the business activity within the principles of the regulatory framework Review all new account documentation and ensure that client classifications are correct; Maintain and develop relationships with market counterparties in order to effectively execute security transactions on behalf of clients, responsible for ensuring compliance with specific conduct risk, i.e. product development, compliance process and procedures, HR including performance management.
Substantial experience gained within Private Banking or Wealth Management developing and maintaining a customer base which has been located in either South Asia, West or South Africa(essential) combined with significant experience in a senior management role in a reputable Banking institution working knowledge of CASS, strong strategic orientation, proven track record of building a credible relationship management business. Strategic leadership skills with ability to drive a team to execute and deliver business objectives. The bank is seeking a results orientated individual who can embrace and drive change bringing a breath of new ideas to develop the bank's proposition to become 'best in class'.
