What you'll do:

› You'll have the opportunity to interact with departments and personnel throughout the company, at all levels, including the senior management to independently risk assess areas, determine a proper course of action for testing and execute against the developed audit program.

› You'll have the opportunity to work in a team or individually taking a "hands on" role in the execution of audits from start to finish (preparation, fieldwork and reporting) to assess design, effectiveness and efficiency of controls within the business.

› Ensure execution of the audit plan within departmental methodology, policies and standards.

› Lead and direct closing meetings with senior management to provide recommendations and solutions to add value for the organisation.

› Assess procedures and develop audit steps to test compliance with laws and regulations.

› Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills both inside and outside the Internal Audit department.

› Demonstrate a strong understanding of risks and controls in order to independently develop audit programs.

› Perform follow-up procedures on Internal Audit observations.

› Providing input into the audit planning process.

What you bring to the table:

Ø BA/BS degree in accounting, business, finance or a related field (or equivalent)

Ø Significant years' experience, ideally with professional qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA, CIA, etc.) or equivalent.

Ø Experience within asset management or asset servicing operations including understanding of general IT controls.

Ø Experience working within the CASS regulatory regime

Ø Familiarity with regulators (i.e., Financial Conduct Authority)
