We are currently looking for a Loan Operations Associate to join a rapidly growing business, operating within the Asset Management industry. Following an incredibly successful round of funding and investment, they are ready to engage with new talent to build an extremely strong team of competent associates to handle new investment projects.

The ideal person will assist and develop the operational activity required for the complete life cycle, including the management and administration, of loans currently handled by the company. This will include working on behalf of the fund, alongside Co-Investment arrangements. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be highly efficient, proactive and analytical in nature.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist, and/or lead, term sheets and highly complex loan and security documentation at initial stage of the loan, for the application process
  • Preparing any key control sheets needed, regarding deadlines or events throughout the life cycle of any transaction based on a set legal structure of the facility
  • Assist with the management of the operational process of closing, reconciliation of funding and organising new investments
  • Closely reviewing cash and loan reconciliation reports, acting as point of contact for inquiries regarding active projects
  • Review performance of loan, ensuring all conditions are adhered to
  • Support any changes and assisting with any milestone developments within active loans
  • Produce and review monthly reports, including comparisons of budgets and financial data, for central reporting database

Desired experience and qualities;

  • Background experience within;
  • Transaction services
  • Debt management / Portfolio advisory
  • Financial advisory
  • Financial restructuring
  • Banking - Loan operations and management * Good experience working / communicating with Directors and key stakeholders
  • Relevant university degree
  • European language highly desirable but not essential. (French, German, Dutch or Spanish preferred.)
