An opportunity has arisen for a full time Paraplanner (Wealth Management) with some Personal Assistant duties within a Wealth Management practice in Central London.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Paraplanner (Wealth Management0

  • Your role as a Paraplanner will be focused on, providing support to the 3 Partners through undertaking preparation of client meeting packs; researching suitable financial planning solutions and drafting suitability letters to describe the Adviser's recommendations.

  • Gathering/collating of external provider information, collating bespoke investment reports and preparation of meeting agendas.

  • Be responsible for ensuring our client confidential reviews are updated after each meeting and liaising with providers to obtain information.

  • Ownership of our online fact find and database ensuring that all client communication and records are kept fully up to date.

  • Be actively involved with new business processing including preparation of key facts illustrations and chasing through pipeline of cases to issue stage.

  • Business Submission - creating illustrations, submitting business (i.e. suitability letters, Fact Find Completion & use of our online database).

  • In-depth data analysis of client's funds and investments (use of Analytics) and so produce personalised illustrations and up to date wealth accounts.

  • Liaising with administration centers regarding client transactional fund information.

  • Client switches, surrenders and critical yield calculation.

  • Be responsible for our service delivery schedule to clients.

  • Assist with Client events as required.

  • Be responsible for SJP trust documentation preparation and dispatch to our clients.

  • An understanding of pension transfers is also key to the role.

Essential Skills of the Paraplanner, Wealth Management

  • 3-5 years experience as a Paraplanner

  • Private Banking/ Wealth Management experience

  • Diploma preferred
