A superb opportunity to join a highly established Finance company based in London as a Regional Manager - Academy (Wealth Management) has recently become available.
Providing the primary point of contact between new Academy Partners, Advisers and the company - this role is highly significant in ensuring that all activities are carried out in an appropriate manner, in keeping with the company's guidance and expectations.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Monitoring and enhancing the quality of advice provided by the company meets the FCA's TCF Outcome Four
- Ensuring that Academy Partners' and Advisers' day-to-day business activities include:
o Creating processes that meet the needs of clients efficiently and effectively
o Making decisions with clients' best interests in mind
o Keeping clients suitably informed within appropriate timescales
o Giving suitable advice which takes account of clients' circumstances
o Actively seeks information and understanding of the Academy Partner's or Adviser's business
o Training new joiners on the company's Quality of Advice documentation standards, coaching effectively on the feedback received
o Implementing and maintaining the required systems to ensure that Academy Partners and Advisers within their team meet with the FCA's objectives and the principles of good regulation
o Using the monitoring systems and controls in place to ensure that risk processes are implemented, and that problems are identified and dealt with
o Using Business Checking feedback, MI, audit information and trend analysis to maintain a clear understanding of each new joiner's business
o Maintaining awareness of the financial arrangements and requirements of the Academy Partners and Advisers, ensuring that company policy in relation to the financial standing of the Academy Partner or Adviser is always followed
