An innovative fin-tech looking at fast growth as they are expanding into new markets. This is an opportunity for a step up in responsibility for a top grade Credit or Strategy Analyst. You'll need a strong mathematical and data background but you'll also require the commercial knowledge and confidence to be able to implement your own ideas, rather than pass things on to your manager.

You'll work side by side with the head of to manage the Credit Risk function in new and existing markets so it's a rare opportunity with unrivalled exposure and scope.

THE ROLE

  • Manage Credit Risk in existing markets as well as in new markets internationally
  • Drive step change in credit risk and strategy performance through analysis, insight and test and learn analysis
  • Monitor performance of portfolios over time using analytical and modelling techniques to identify risks and opportunites
  • Deliver Credit Risk Strategy and Policy through quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Use SQL and other programming tools (Python, R, SAS)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent academics, with a 2.1 degree from a Russell Group University at a minimum
  • Highly numerate and analytical, ideally with a maths based academic background
  • Experience using SQL and Excel extensively in a Credit Risk or Strategic Analytics role
  • Ideally having used Python, R, SAS etc
  • Excellent at turning rigorous analysis into clear, reasoned recommendations
  • Whilst a 'thinker' is required, it's as important to be a 'doer' who can bring an energy and an entrepreneurial spirit
