One of a few north west based true Financial Planning firms is looking for a Team leader to head a team of Financial Planning support staff. The base salary for this role is up to £33,000 with some very good benefits which include flexible hours, better than average pension scheme, PMI, 26 days holiday and some more being added.

In the role you will work alongside the Operations Manager to help manage the Financial Planning support specialists. In addition you will be assigned some work for the advisers. All advisers are very close to or are chartered and you would be primary contact for their clients, so this role is more client service than administration.

In the role supporting Advisers you will carry out research for ISAs, investments, pension switching and drawdown. Decent technical knowledge in these areas is preferred, and ideally you will have sound pensions knowledge and much of the work is around this. This role bridges the technical work and acting as PA to the advisers in many aspects, thankfully the Advisers are receptive to this so you could really have a steer on how this role develops for you.

For the team leader responsibilities you will be in charge of work flow, allocating resource and coordinating the team. In addition you will be involved in the appraisal process.

Whilst qualifications are desired they are by no means essential as the main attractive would be the working experience you have in the industry. If you thrive in an environment where you have lots of Adviser and client contact, plus enjoy variety in the role such as doing some administration and research, then this is an ideal position for you.
