VP of Client Services / VP of Account Management / Customer Success Lead required to work for a technology company within the Professional Services sector based in the City of London. You will have Client Services Management experience as you will be initially responsible for a team of circa 25-30 people. We need someone from a finance related background where you will have exposure to the likes of FinTech, Hedge Funds, Equities, Derivatives…Investment Banking etc. We need a good, solid strategic leader who is very service driven and knows how to get the best out of individuals within their team. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

Client Service Delivery Management

  • Deliver client service for client base in line with client service expectations
  • Meet target revenue, cost, and margin requirements
  • Work with the Account Management team to deepen relationships with clients
  • Problem solve issues that may arise in terms of external client demand and/or internal research execution

People Management

  • Motivate, lead and inspire a key vertical to achieve business objectives
  • Support the development of 25 or more direct and indirect reports across multiple teams within the department
  • Identify areas of improvements and provide regular feedback for direct reports
  • Utilise effective performance management to address performance issues in adherence with local employment laws and best practice
  • Develop and execute succession plans for the management layer
  • Work closely with peers and direct reports to create plans for attracting, developing, and maintaining staff
  • Identify and resolve skill gaps within all levels

Business Management

  • Promote and drive improvements in standards, productivity and efficiency
  • Execute on strategic initiatives
  • Manage department budget
  • Lead change management and proactively identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, such as Account Management, Sales, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition to achieve common business objectives
  • Participate in the recruitment process to help maintain optimal resource levels across the office
  • Contribute to hiring plans and meet budget headcount and productivity
  • Present Weekly/Monthly presentations to the department and/or senior management
  • Support the development of complementary product Forum through cross-selling initiatives

Candidate Profile

A successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of two years of management experience and a minimum of five years of client service experience
  • Demonstrated the ability to successfully collaborate with others to accomplish goals and meet deliverables
  • Successfully rolled out change management initiatives, including internal communication strategies
  • A strong track record working in a high-pressure, fast-moving service delivery environment where real-time performance has a material impact on the client experience and revenue
  • Preferable to have an understanding of the Credit and Public Equities investment space
  • Professional Services background
